10/08/10 Maxus welcomes Martin Lawson as Global Insights & Data Director
Martin Lawson joins us today in the new role of Global Insights & Data Director.
In effect, Martin will be leading "R&D" for Maxus globally in this new role. Martin will be responsible for creating techniques, tools, and consulting solutions for our clients and our network.
Martin joins us from i-level where he was Head of Insight.

23/07/10 Maxus : Champions of Telegraph Petanque
Maxus were crowned 2010 champions of the TMG 2nd Annual Pentaque Championships.
Yesterday evening in Regent's Park 12 teams were competing for the title, well done to our winning team of Luke Hills, Shawna Beaudet, Chris Place, Matt Waghorn, Adam Browne and James Campbell!

We have had some well deserved promotions over the last few weeks. Patrick Lindon & Dan Parkinson have both been promoted to Senior Planner/Buyer. With Gemma Morris & Matt Waghorn promoted to Media Manager. Well done to them all.

16/06/10 2 more new faces at Maxus
This week we welcome another 2 new faces to Maxus.
Zoe Kho joins us as Senior Planner/Buyer to work in Hayley McRae's group on Experian, Chrysler, Triumph, Church & Dwight and Seiko accounts.
We also welcome John Maloney who has joined as our Press Director, previously working at our sister agency Mindshare.
A warm welcome to both of them.

07/06/10 Helena Snowdon joins Maxus as Global Marketing Director
Helena Snowdon joins us today as Global Marketing Director. Helena will oversee all the Maxus brand, marketing and communication whilst also working on our new business development and pitch coordination.
Maxus global chief executive Kelly Clark, who Snowdon will report to, said: “Helena’s appointment is a major commitment to building the Maxus brand with clients, new business prospects, pitch consultants, and the media.”

25/05/10 Triumph & Sex and the City 2
If you're planning to go and watch Sex and the City 2 at the cinema this weekend, then keep your eyes peeled for the Triumph live ad, in which models will undress to reveal favourites from the new Triumph range!
Last year the film took c.£8.9m in its opening weekend and similar figures are expected this year, affording Triumph exposure (sic) to a perfectly targeted audience as well as benefitting massively from the hype and excitement surrounding the film.
The live ads will take place in key cities throughout the UK and will be supported by foyer activity, including a postcard competition - go along and grab a chance to win £500 of Selfridges vouchers. -

Today we have 3 more new faces at Maxus.
Welcome to James Campbell who is joining us as Media Director across the BT Consumer Planning account.
Ludo Mepassa who joins us from All Response Media, he is a DRTV specialist who will be working on our BT and Experian accounts.And finally, Chris Hopkins who joins the Mercedes team as a Planner/Buyer across all media.

27/04/10 Smart signs as first car sponsor for Dave
Maxus has negotiated a deal with IDS which will see smart become the first car sponsor on the UKTV’s award winning entertainment channel Dave.
smart, the low-emission, pioneering car brand from Mercedes-Benz, will be the exclusive broadcast sponsor of Dave between 9pm and 2am every Saturday and Sunday for a period of eight months from 1st May to the end of December.
The deal, will see smart sponsoring top Dave programming including QI, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week and James May’s Big Ideas. The deal also extends online with smart sponsoring a quiz section on www.joindave.co.uk and a series of monthly e-newsletters to the Dave registered database.
The credits for the sponsorship have been edited down from a series of 2 minute films made by AMV BBDO and viewers can watch the full length versions at a specially created website, www.thinksmart.co.uk

The channel’s brand values mirror those of the car – fun, vibrant, full of life and with an inherent wit and intelligence. Maxus has been shortlisted once again for their work with Mercedes in the Automotive sector in the Marketing Week Engage Awards. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 18th May....so watch this space.

17/03/10 New campaign for smart Brabus "Tailormade"
Maxus have launched a new campaign for their client smart. The campaign supports the smart Brabus Tailormade range.
The Brabus "Tailormade" allows you to be completely bespoke the design of your car, right down to the colour of the stitching itself.
The campaign consists of outdoor, using the bespoke smart "gap" sites which were tailormade by JCDeaux for smart back in 2004 and show how a small space can have big impact. Outdoor is also accompanied by online. The interactive formats allow each user to create their own bespoke smart and "publish" it - their smart will then be used as the basis for the next ad.

15/03/10 Watch 'News at Ten' Tonight
Watch the 'News at Ten' tonight on ITV to witness the launch of Fiat Professional's bold new campaign, designed to shake up the LCV market.
ITV have specially created a centre break in the news programming in order to premier the debut episode of a brand new sitcom from Fiat Professional 'The Fleet'. The 180" solus spot will introduce the characters of Lightfoot Logistics, an operation whose staff are its biggest asset - and its worst liability. The style is akin to "The Office", and you may even recognise a few faces.
There are 10 mini-episodes in total, with the remaining episodes appearing online.

17/02/10 Maxus wins £75m BT Media Planning and Buying
Maxus have won BT's media planning and buying account worth around £75m in billings.
Lindsay Weedon, CEO, Maxus said "we are delighted to be working with BT, proactively managing media planning and buying for one of the country's largest advertisers".

08/02/10 Maxus Hires Stephanie Marks as Client Services Director
Maxus, has hired Stephanie Marks to the new role of Client Services Director to work on the agency’s newly acquired £20m Fiat and Alfa Romeo account.
Stephanie joins us from MCHI where she ran the Carphone Warehouse account and was previously Media Director at PHD Media for 7 years, running Sainsbury's, Harrods, Heal's and The Economist.
Lindsay Weedon, CEO of Maxus said "We're delighted that someone of Stephanie's calibre is joining Maxus. She forges fantastic client relationships, is a great team player and will be a valuable addition to the expanding Maxus team".

Maxus picked up a 'silver' award in the Media Innovation category at last night's Media Week Awards.
Maxus were rewarded for their Mercedes-Benz Approved Used mobile handbook campaign.
